Camperfans.com was created on 26th August 2006 by father and son Kevin and Jack when they came up with the idea of starting a small internet based business to sell VW vehicles. For a long time, both Kevin and Jack have been interested in VW's and actually own a 1975 Westfalia Type 2.

The new website was uploaded in September 2007 and been a lot more popular since it's release.

During the day, Kevin is a software developer and Jack is now a Level 2 Qualified Mechanic and is looking to start racing.

In 2008, the popularity of Camperfans rose greatly. Many companies were impressed with the site design and are now sponsers on the wesbite. Also, after talks with "Crazy Colin", Camperfans are now associated with "Crazy Creations"; a company that create die-cast models of classic VW's and more.

Jack has been using his entrepreneural skills to make some important contacts with other companies which play a big part in raising the profile of Camperfans.

In the next few years, both Jack and Kevin hope that they can make Camperfans one of the main VW specialist websites around; with even the idea of starting their own VW Hire service.
